Students who wish to return to EKU but were academically suspended or dismissed (and sat out the required suspension/dismissal time) with an institutional GPA of less than a 1.5 must petition for readmission through the Office of the Registrar and submit an application for readmission to the Office of Admissions.
Use this form to request readmission into EKU.
Students placed on 1st academic suspension are required to sit out from EKU for one full semester. If you would like to return to EKU without sitting out your suspension period, please submit a Petition for Immediate Readmission.NOTE: Academic Dismissal has a mandatory 5-year sit-out period which cannot be appealed.
By submitting this Petition for Readmission, I understand and agree to the following:
Students returning after sitting out their suspension period are readmitted on Academic Probation status and are assigned an academic coach with Office of Advising and Career Services. Students will develop an academic success plan with their coach before being allowed to register for classes. Continued enrollment is contingent upon adherence to their signed academic Student Success Agreement and meeting EKU Academic Standards Policy.
